Bling Bling

Here are the results of one month of local racing. Hayden (and now Hunter) have been racing for a month and have done really well. The big points and trophies come at national events, but these ain't too shabby! The kids have a choice of trophy or stamps which are like Greenstamps. I barely remember them, but you essentially fill a card with these stamps and a full card is like cash. Which can be used at bike shops and tracks for merchandise (1st place is three stamps, 2nd two stamps, etc). I think that the trophy has been a fun novelty, especially for Hayden. So, it may be hard to get him to choose stamps! This has been really fun. Our entire family is obsessed! Starting Monday (if the weather allows) we are all gonna start doing sprints. Which is riding your bike for 1/4 of a mile, pedaling the entire way. By the way they are super HARD! Jon, with the legs of steel from soccer, even gets tired. Obviously Chan can't do them just yet, but we'll have him doing them in no time! Should be an interesting sight to see! When the new season starts (New Years Day) we will be traveling to Austin to race at a new track and to visit Aunt Amy and Uncle Jesse. We are all super excited. I have been promising Amy and Jesse we would come to Austin forever, so guys get your guest room ready!
