Oh crap! My life is INSANE lately. I cannot stress that enough. Jon started a second full time job on Monday and I have been playing single parent and it is HARD. He's been working 6am til about 8pm every night. My kids are driving me nuts- mainly my daughter and my baby. Chloe is just a giant teenage drama queen. Camden is so spoiled that not having his mommy to himself like normal has turned him into a ginormous cry baby. He has fussed so much this week that he is hoarse. Blah! My other kids, on the other hand, are being complete angels.
Anyway, I did want too acknowledge my 700th post! I cannot believe I was able to talk/type that much interesting (I hope) stuff. I am doing an awesome giveaway to kick off Summer. I am crossing my fingers that by tomorrow morning I'll have it ready to present.... I sure hope you've enjoyed reading all about my life- kids, husbands, babies, teenagers, periods and poop to name a few highlights! Now, I'm off to get kids from school and take Chan to his physical therapy appointment. Oh and Cam's out of baby food and I need to go to the DMV and I have to make cupcakes and buy a gift, and.... you get the point.
THANKS for reading! I love y'all to bits! Keep checking for my giveaway, it'll be on here before the goodies are obsolete, I hope.

Bleh
Yeah, so I forgot to blog. Or something. I'm sure my previous post had nothing to do with me being tired, bloated, cranky, stressed, weepy and in no mood to blog. Oh no, Aunt Flo doesn't do that. She's a nice visitor. One who doesn't cause trouble or make messes and never overstays her welcome. Yeah right. Let's be honest- the last 5 days have been AWFUL. Basically I have been begging for menopause. Case closed. In other news- I am super bummed about LOST ending, I can't get Camden to sleep through the night without his (my) precious boobers, I've been walking 2 miles every night and my scale has a death grip on the exact same number while I have a death grip on anything and everything chocolate, and other than a few little happy spots, my Mother's Day was the worst one I have ever ever had. I really don't wanna go into detail, because I am all cried out. But, don't feel sorry for me, I am a big girl and as Jon told me- it's just a silly commercialized holiday. Ugghh. Men are so retarded. Tell me why we need them again? And, that's all I've got except for two teeny little things in my head. 1) does anybody know a plastic surgeon who wants to lift, tuck, and suck my body pro bono just because he/she is nice and I'm cute? It might be a tax write off for him/her. 2)This is my 699 post since August of '07 and I MIGHT do a giveaway to celebrate the BIG ONE. Maybe, but don't get too excited. I might decide to not blog again for a month or more. It all depends on what drama/loveliness might or might not get thrown my way.

back to my not very regular scheduled blogging...
So, I have had like ZERO internet the last several days, which sucks! And, not to get your hopes up but... I don't have time to blog tonight either. I do have things I am planning on blogging about, but have been very busy lately. As soon as I get a free minute tomorrow I hope to have a new post up!

Status Quo
Well, since I don't have any awesome pictures or groovy stories to tell I am gonna just do an update kind of post.
I am so glad that warm weather is here! The kids have been swimming every day this week and are already begging for their friends to be able to come over and join them.... not ready for that part! Personally, it's too cold for me. But, I can almost guarantee that when I am giant preg-o I am gonna be out there like Shamu at Sea World...
Chandler FINALLY started driver's ed. Not sure how I feel about that... I mean I am excited but also nervous. Excited that I won't have to drive him around all the freaking time, but nervous for obvious reasons. Thank goodness he has to drive with me or Jon for 6 months before he can get his license. Jon was able to get him a truck already (a '77 Chevy) and he only paid $475 for it. He bought it an auction for a children's charity as a non-running vehicle and all it needed was a battery. Plus it's in mint condition. Score!
We still plan on trying to sell our house, bad economy and all. We are decluttering here and there and will be working on little projects throughout the next month. The goal is to have it listed by late May. I personally will be praying diligently that what is meant to be will be. If it doesn't sale by January we will take it off the market.
One of these days I plan on changing my blog design but I am currently feeling lazy, forgetful, and design challenged. I actually have a neat idea but I keep putting off getting the ball rolling. Maybe this upcoming week... we'll see.
Hunter, Chloe, and Hayden are all doing good. Hunter has a new girlfriend and is always texting. Big surprise. Chloe is becoming more and more of a teenage drama queen by the day. There are many unpleasant moments around here... that's all I'll say about that. Hayden is just as sweet as ever. He told me today that he would skip the big BMX race in November to help me with the new baby. Awww. And, he gets to go on his first ever field trip on Tuesday. Complete with sack lunch and bus ride. He is very excited. I am going along as a chaperone. I really can't wait.
What is going on with this freaking swine flu? Seriously, as if there weren't enough things to worry about! So scary. My prayer is that it can be contained and that proper medicines will be found and that everything will be ok. Maybe I'm being paranoid, who knows. When I was pregnant with Hayden 9/11 happened and I was so worried for my family and our new baby. Looks like I'm gonna be on edge again for awhile.
And, lastly: the pregnancy. Somebody help me- I am a hormonal monster! Ugghh! Also, I am still suffering from awful nausea. It is so bad that I had to go to my doctor for an anti-nausea RX. It does nothing but make me tired. So, I am back to wearing motion sickness bracelets. They don't work either and they don't match any of my clothes. And, you'd never know because of the nausea- but I still have little cravings here and there. Right now I could go for a steak and baked sweet potato or Chinese. It's Saturday and I am so not cooking, maybe I'll get one of my cravings satisfied... And, speaking of cravings- I have gained about 15 pounds. Yikes! My goal is to not exceed 10 more pounds, then I'll be back where I started before I lost all my weight. I fully plan on breastfeeding 24 hours a day so I can burn a ton of weight off. I have done a little shopping here and there. Mainly clothes. It is super hard to find cute boy stuff, but I'm trying. Jon and I are gonna go this week and look at travel systems and a bassinet/cradle. Once I get those I have everything I need for his first week of life. And, my personal favorite: he kicks ALOT! So sweet, like popcorn popping in your tummy. That is a feeling I could never, ever get tired of.
And that's it! Hope y'all have a great weekend! Plus, be on the lookout for a fun giveaway... I am only 10 posts away from 600! And, I plan on doing a giveaway to celebrate! Yee haw! Y'all come back now- ya hear?

Lazy Sunday
I am getting quite skilled at being a lady of leisure. Today was no exception. I mean I did stuff, but it was just the bare minimum. First things first, I pushed snooze on my alarm more times than I care to remember, but did manage to make it to the last hour (Relief Society) of church. I am soo glad I made it for that one hour. GREAT lesson that I definitely needed. I also felt strongly that I needed to try harder to make it to church on Sundays. I know for a fact that although sleeping in feels great, church would make me feel even better.
After church I had some lunch and a nap. Even better- my entire family was gone so I got to nap in peace!
Shortly after I woke up Jon and the kids came home from the BMX track and told me all about Chloe's crash. She just recently started racing and today during a practice lap she tumbled over her handlebars and bit her tongue pretty bad. Her tongue is swollen and purple on the tip and she has two big teethmarks/holes on it. She also has several scrapes and bruises here and there. Honestly I know I sound like a baby, but I am not so jazzed about the idea of my only daughter getting hurt like that...
Next on the agenda- we were treated to a free concert by our neighbors! Isn't that sweet? Someone on the next block had a Mexican/Hispanic/Mariachi band playing some seriously loud music, for 6 solid hours! It was so loud we could hear it inside and when we went outside we could hear the singer or DJ and what he was saying word for word! All it really did for me was give me a serious craving for Mexican food. So, we had nachos for dinner.
And, last but not least I ventured to Wal-Mart for some Orajel for Chloe. Not much happened there, same rude, odd people as always. But, I did find something I have been looking for: Cocoa Creme Tums. Just opening the bottle made me smile, they smell yummy! Like walking into Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. It's been a long time since I was that excited. Now, I can cure my heartburn and my craving for chocolate at the same time. Wow, I live an exciting life!!
Now, it's off to bed and it all starts all over again tomorrow. I have a feeling Monday is gonna be interesting. Chloe is already pulling the stay home card and Hayden has a pretty big project due Thursday. Wish me luck....

Why?
Why do I pick my zits?
Why do my kids ALWAYS forget to flush?
Why does my daughter insist on using my bathtub, hair dryer, and razor?
Why can't my kids turn off the TV or the lights when they leave a room?
Why can't anyone in this house (besides me) pick up their dirty clothes?
Why do we have to have a power outage 10 minutes before I am gonna settle down to watch TV?
Why do I stay up so late every night knowing I am gonna oversleep?
Why do I check my email as often as I do?
Why does Oscar Mayer think that ham and cheese crackers and a candy bar is a good lunch option for kids?
Why are my animals nuts?
Why must it be cold one day and hot the next?
Why can't I have a growth spurt up instead of out?
Why does food that's bad for you taste so good?
Why do I always procrastinate?
Why am I doing another list......?

Pregosaurus
Ok, so I told you how I found out I was pregnant and now I thought I'd fill you in on the pregnancy so far.
First of all, I am considered borderline high risk because of my weight and my age. Who knew you were considered a dinosaur if you were 35 years old and pregnant? Technical term- Advanced Maternal Age. Lucky me.
I seriously had forgotten how tired you get. And, I am not sure if the fact that I am older than I was in previous pregnancies has anything to do with it. I have delivered babies at 18, 22, 23, and 27. This time around I am more tired than ever, much like a dinosaur... I basically sleep 11 til 6:30ish each night and nap from 9 til 11 each morning. I barely make it through Oprah each afternoon, no energy. The only reason I am up now is because I slept through American Idol, it was that boring.
I am having a hard time keeping up with my housewife/mommy duties. Like if I clean house we eat out and if I cook dinner, the house is a disaster. Let's not even mention laundry. Let's just say I am doing my best and my best is seriously lacking. I spend a good portion of each day in comfy clothes and glasses and I go many days without make-up or fixing my hair. I am trying...
I have gained almost 6 pounds, yikes! That's in the first trimester. I have walked a grand total of 3 times and so far have taken the plastic off of my prenatal workout DVD's, I promise I'll try and start tomorrow... I am pleased to say my right arm is looking very toned, since that is the arm I use to shovel the food in.
Which brings me to cravings. In no particular order I have been craving: REGULAR Dr. Pepper, ice water, pink lemonade, apple pie a la mode, Red Lobster, strawberries, Granny Smith apples, cheese enchiladas, broccoli with cheese sauce, and pretzels with cheese. Cheese seems to be my weakness lately.
Since I am eating so much cheese some parts of the body aren't functioning as well as they should so I tried grape juice. BIG mistake. I couldn't leave the house for one whole day. Not pleasant. And while I am on the subject of unpleasantness I'll just spit it out- the breasties are always in a ton of pain and I sweat like a pig all the freaking time. Oh, and my nose is always plugged. And, my favorite: I pee so much that I am going through an entire double roll of toilet paper every day!
I am currently addicted to every baby/pregnancy reality show that is on. I watch Baby Story, Bringing Home Baby, Deliver Me, Birth Day, and Babies: Special Delivery. One might think I have all the time in the world and I was a first time mom. Watching all those shows reminds me of one thing: I am terrified to go through labor and delivery again. My delivery with Hayden was not the least bit pleasant until he came out. Did I mention that I'm scared? I'm afraid of the pain and my epidural not working (like it didn't with Hayden) and on and on.
I cry ALOT at dumb stuff. I watched Footloose the other day and cried, I cried watching American Idol, I cried because the kids didn't like what I made for dinner. I cried when I read my comments on here. I can't help it. I also have had my share of hormonal anger. The other day Chan had NO clean underwear and decided he would toss a load of wet red clothes into a dryer load of white clothes, which resulted in pink streaks on the white stuff. And, he actually said he thought pink was my favorite color! Oh man, I think my neighbors 3 blocks away heard me yell.
And, for the record: people aren't nice to fat chicks who are pregnant. I have had one too many people tell me (when I was expecting Hayden) that they didn't know I was pregnant. And, I have had people tell me my tummy wasn't as firm as so and so. Duh, I am not a size 2. I have given birth to 4 kids and they all left me a souvenir, in the form of a chubby tummy. So, before you even ask- I will not be doing "belly shots". As a matter of fact, pictures of me will be minimal for the next 6 months. Unless I look hot or something then I might consider it, maybe...
And, there you have it. One trimester down, two to go. Wish me luck!

All about US!
Since I am so bad at blogging lately I thought I'd give you the rundown on the family. Basically we are all anxiously awaiting Spring Break as we are ready to come out of our Winter cave! But, I'll add to it just a bit.
Me- I have been watching TV, reading, eating, and sleeping more than necessary. Isn't that what one who is hibernating does? I am having a hard time kick starting my diet and an even harder time staying off of Facebook. I am growing my hair out again. I have a new Spring wardrobe and now need sandals and flats to match. I am more accepting of my birthday this year than last... could it be that I am maturing? Although 35 is a scary number!
Jon- He is growing more addicted to BMX by the minute. He is also getting into Facebook too, just not as much as his wife. He still falls asleep on the couch every night and snores more than ever! He is thoroughly enjoying all of his Valentine candy, maybe too much. He will be 39 next week, yikes! I am married to an old fart! But, I love him anyway. I just wish he had more gray hair than me. So not fair!
Chan- What can I say? He is a teenager. He finds hanging with friends much more appealing than family. Although this could be because his friend's moms cook every night... He got a letter jacket for football. The school paid for most of it but we spent a hefty chunk of change on add ons ($165) and he has yet to wear it. He is hot natured, yet HAD TO have that jacket! He gets better at guitar every day and is still not driving. I am putting it off as long as possible... I'm a smart mom like that. He will be 17 in 3 weeks, holy cow!
Hunter- I am not exactly sure what Hunter looks like anymore. His head is always down because he is texting or on his I-Pod touch. He too is getting super fast at BMX. He doesn't have a girlfriend currently and for the first time in 2 years only got Valentines from me. This is because he has "dated" every girl in his school and there is no one left who adores him. Poor Hunter. He has the stinkiest feet of any human being I have ever encountered. He is still working his way through puberty.
Chloe- She too is working her way through puberty, yet she seems to be hitting more roadblocks than Hunter. I am guessing because she is a girl and we are odd little creatures... She changes clothes 5 times a day and sometimes when we run errands together she sneaks on make-up. Her favorite thing to do is take pictures of herself. Some are really good, I just don't understand why we need 100 shots of the same pose. She keeps taking my blow dryer and flat iron. For real. I am not ready for this... She is also fixing to start racing BMX.
Hayden- He is doing great at spelling and reading and writes the funniest little stories that crack me up every day. His most prized possession at the moment is a plastic wallet from a Jack in the Box kid meal. He has $5 and a photo of himself in there. So cute I wanna punch him. He is doing awesome at BMX as well. He is a very sweet, laid back, kind hearted little boy. Definitely helps when his sister is being a turd. He tells me about 50 times a day that I am pretty and he loves me. I am keeping him forever, until he meets a girl who is worthy.
Coco and Daisy- They are super happy to be back home. They went straight for the pool for a drink and a welcome home lap. They have been very well behaved. Makes me think they are grateful... And, I can't help but wonder about their adventure. Coco still won't stop barking and Daisy still walks while she pees and poops. Whatever, I guess dogs have quirks too.
Pedro- He is the oddest cat we have ever owned and we've had over 10 cats in 13 years! He goes outside and immediately runs to the backyard where the dogs cover him in slobber. He claws at them like crazy, even drawing blood. Yet he still stalks into their territory. Weird. Last night he managed to detach the teddy bear from my Valentine flowers. Which he then took to the hallway and molested. Freak. He drives me batty.
And, there you have it. The down low on the fam. I sure hope my creative juices start flowing soon. Have a fantastic weekend!

I do have something to blog about....
but I can't!! I REFUSE to blog about my weekend without photos and for some wacky reason I can't get my pictures to upload, so you'll have to wait until it's cooperating. Which may be never... In the meantime here's all I have.
I saw two awesome movies: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Marley and Me. Both were sooo good. I laughed AND cried during both movies.
I dropped my cell phone in Coke. On the way to the movies. I was practically in hysterics because Chan was babysitting. Not that he can't babysit but it was gonna be for over 5 hours. Thankfully everyone survived and I have a new phone. Now, I just need to re-program all my numbers.
I rode the Titan.
I finally got pics to load... see below for our fun-filled family outing!!!

Blogger Stew
I could do three different posts about three separate things I feel like blogging about, but it's my blog and I'll do what I want. I'm doin' them all-in-one.
First order of business, the weekly weigh in. This week I was just as lazy as last week. Due to being really busy and having two messed up knees. I played my behind off in softball last Monday and I am still paying the price. We don't have a game tomorrow, so I have one whole week to keep them iced and wrapped, and hopefully get all healed up. I found out tonight that we are gonna sign our team up for the Winter league, which is cool. I can get in two days of exercise for sure each week that way. It also means I am gonna have to put up the Nike's and get honest to goodness real softball cleats. I am gonna try and find a pair that matches my pink glove. Anyway, back to the point. I am down 14.5 pounds! I am addicted to Lean Cuisines and Coke Zero. End of point.
Second order of business, blogging. I just want to say I really like my blog, ALOT! It is fun and a little addictive. I look at it often. I can't imagine ever not blogging. Everytime I go somewhere, I take pictures, just in case I blog about what I'm doing. I even take pictures of food in restaurants. You should see the pictures on my computer. There are photos of Cokes, food, etc. I love when people read my blog. I love it even more when people comment. Makes all the picture taking and typing worth it. Not sure why it matters, but it does. I guess it's an ego thing. I know some people could care less about comments. Not me, I totally care.
And, last but not least, church. I let my mind wander today during sacrament. I know, I know. Anyway, as I was letting my thoughts float around, I was pondering things about church that stump me and sometimes make me laugh. Like, how I always manage to get the hardest chunk of bread and the teeniest cup of water at sacrament. Or, people who sit in the same place every week, and would almost rather go home than sit somewhere different. And, why is it always so flippin' loud in the back? Why do the same kids always get up and down 22 times each and every week? And, could it get any colder in the chapel? Is it ok to speed on your way to church just so you can partake of the sacrament? And on and on... I usually always listen and I definitely always learn something amazing, but today I wasn't on my game.
Ok, the end.

Today's Drama
Well, Chloe found her binder. It was on the bus, in the lost and found bin next to the driver. It was empty. So, whoever took it was nice enough to steal all of her supplies and leave the $15 Trapper Keeper behind. Kid's today are so gracious... And, speaking of the bus driver. Chloe told me he is her favorite bus driver of all. Because he crashes into things, like curbs.
Now, for Hayden. He got bit by an ant. No big deal really. Except where he got bit. I won't tell you where, I'll just let you guess. It's where no man wants to be bitten. Poor baby. I really feel bad for him.
And, on to Hunter, he almost got jumped this evening. Thank goodness he and his very expensive BMX bike made it home safely. We're not sure who they were. Pretty sure it's not the same group of guys who shot at him and his friend's with Airsoft guns the other day. I am gonna have to keep that kid in the house from now on.
Then there's Chan. He had a fairly normal evening. He went to Cici's Pizza with the entire offensive line. He told me they were quite a site. His exact words: "we looked really funny. A bunch of fat guys at an all you can eat pizza buffet." Then he showed me a picture on his cell phone of a tray full of pizza crust. And it was a very large pile. Oh, and then he told me he left his back pack in his friend's car. And I was like "oh no, Channy. What are you gonna do?" And he said: "it's no big deal Mom, the only thing in it is my binder"...
P.S. I just discovered that Jon stepped in dog poop and tracked it in our house. I had been smelling something for about 2 hours. And, it was my husband. I haven't gagged that hard in years.

Hell hath frozen over...
I got a freakin' child support check today! 66 whole dollars. Woo hoo! I am supposed to be getting that amount weekly I think? It should be 3 times that, to cover back child support and back medical bills. But, there's this little thing called an appeal. Maybe you've heard. Anyway, that check along with a $7 refund from the hospital will fill my gas tank and buy me a 20 oz Coke and a Snickers bar.... I am speechless. I can't believe that Roger *-the child support-* Dodger came through. It's not every day you get money in the mail. If only.

Random ramblings
Not wanting to disappoint, I am posting a few random things. If nothing else, than for a current post.
Did you know that 4 kids can eat 28 ice cream sandwiches in 24 hours and have no recollection of it?
I have to applaud the folks who work in the fast food industry. Ok, only the thin ones. I am just impressed that you can work in that atmosphere and not be fat.
I HATE doing laundry. I suck at it and I will never be caught up.
Living in the sticks during 4th of July weekend rocks. You can shoot fireworks to your hearts content and no one cares, not even the cops.
When you eliminate everything your dogs can chew, they will dig up your flowerbeds and make your porch a muddy mess.
Roger Dean Thomisee Jr drives me insane.
I just bought this and these. The bag is for church and the shoes are just because. And, I have a ring and earrings that matches them exactly.
I am so excited about Utah, that I could bust! We will not get there soon enough. I just want to hug my brothers, make sure my big sister is ok, and I really want to meet my nieces and nephews.
I wasn't that fond of the Ped-Egg. It did get off alot of "funk", but it made my hand and arm tired. Any one wanna come give me a pedicure?
So You Think You Can Dance is my new fave show. It beats American Idol, hands down!
I am a multitasking queen. I am off to watch my recorded shows. I will be wearing Crest whitestrips and painting my toenails. Have a groovy evening!
