What a great day! We just got in from Austin. We are giddy from seeing Amy and Jesse and meeting their new little guy- Jonah. What a cutie!! He is absolutely adorable! He is so tiny, it's like holding a doll. Amy and Jesse are in love and exhausted. Jonah Anderson (last name is being withheld) was born 9/22/08 at 12:30 pm. He weighed 6 pounds and was 19 inches long. See what I mean? He is teeny tiny and perfect. Right now he is a little jaundiced, but otherwise, he is doing great! Amy and Jesse are so cute and I know they are falling more in love with him by the moment. They really make such a cute little family, and I am so happy for them. I got a kick out of seeing my baby sister and her husband, they are parents! And, finally... what you've all been waiting for- PICTURES!! There's a TON of them, you might wanna grab a snack!

P.S. I also took my mom with us. But, we hogged the baby alot! Sorry mom. I do have pictures of mom with Jonah, but my flash caused her to blink and close her eyes several times. I feel so bad. She is going to stay and give A & J some much needed and I am sure appreciated assistance for the next week or so. Love you Mom!

I am so jealous you got to go see him! He's beautiful. I wish I could be there. He really is so beautiful. I can't believe how teeny he is.
That is one cute baby! How cool that you got to go down and spend time with them!! It's so nice when family is close like that.

Oh goodness. How teeny! And he's not like most newborns, all wrinkly and stuff. Can't believe that's little Amy! *sigh* When did we all grow up?

Sarah- yeah I drove down there and back in one day. It was a little over 3 hours each way. We left at 9:30 and got there at 12:45. We were able to visit for about 3 & 1/2 hours and then we left at 4ish, had dinner at El Chico, and got home after 8. This morning has been rough, kids are tired. Chloe and I are going back in 2 weeks to help out for a day or two. Hopefully Kelli doesn't go into labor too early. YIKES!
He is so pretty, and perfect. I dont know if my babies were that cute.
He's so adorable, I'm so excited for Amy and Jesse! Many sleepless nights ahead :) But it's totally worth it.
OMG~ Amy! why do you look so cute? Dumb question. Your baby's beautiful and so perfect. Who will he look like? Give me a call when you get your energy back, and enjoy your percoset.
